In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Allah Almighty says: “And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the ties of kinship” (Qur’an 4:1). The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should honor his guest and maintain the ties of kinship.” The answer to the question of true kinship was embodied in the sincere emotions and warm welcome during the Dalati family delegation’s visit from Homs to Al-Zabadani and Kafr al-Zayt. The visit reflected a sincere desire from all family members to strengthen social relations and benefit from one another’s experiences to elevate the family academically, socially, and materially. The gathering was successful on all levels; hearts united and love prevailed. The delegation from Homs included: Hassan, Subhi, Salem, Abdullah, Abdul Rahim, Mustafa, Abdul Muin, Ghazi, Rami, Akram, Rateb, Imad, Faisal, Abu Rakan, Rakan, Abu Hamza, Haj Zuhair, and Abu Adel. The Homs delegation presented commemorative shields, Dalati family flags, and official emblems in both Al-Zabadani and Kafr al-Zayt. On behalf of the Dalati family in Homs, we extend our sincere thanks to all who contributed to the success of these visits, especially the family committee in Al-Zabadani, the elders of the family, Professor Hisham Suleiman Dalati, Professor Ali Muhammad Dalati, and Attorney Ahmad Dalati in Kafr al-Zayt. We ask Allah to accept this effort and grant forgiveness to us and our parents.
