“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided” (Qur’an 3:103). On Tuesday, October 12, 2010, the Dalati family committee in Homs, accompanied by a delegation of family members, conducted a fraternal visit to Al-Salamiyah. The aim was to meet relatives there and enhance direct communication between family branches across Syrian cities. The delegation was received with great warmth and sincere feelings, reflecting the deep family bonds despite geographical distances. The atmosphere was filled with friendliness and respect, with participants exchanging conversations and experiences in serving the family and the community. The importance of such gatherings in strengthening relationships and sharing expertise was emphasized. Discussions focused on family unity, the role of shared heritage in building a cohesive collective identity, and ways to collaborate in social, cultural, and educational fields. Everyone expressed the desire to continue and expand these initiatives to include other cities in Syria and abroad. At the conclusion of the visit, the Homs family committee presented a commemorative shield to the Al-Salamiyah relatives as a token of appreciation, highlighting the depth of the family relationship, which forms the foundation for a cooperative and united family community. This gathering exemplified the values of compassion and connection advocated by Islam, sending a clear message that family strength begins with meetings, is built on love, and bears fruit in future generations.
