On July 18, 2025, a podcast by Sheikh Mahmoud Dalati was presented in the seminar hall at the new Student Union. The podcast covered the first moments of the Syrian Freedom Revolution, starting with the April 18, 2011 sit-in, which was repressed by the regime, and the Hour Massacre where 11 revolutionaries were martyred. It also highlighted the role of all components of Homs in the revolution and emphasized the importance of unity to build a modern Syria.
